Two coaches join TOFC from UBCO for the U18 Girls squad

Two coaches join TOFC from UBCO for the U18 Girls squad. Ashlee Davison and Carmen Lindsay have joined TOFC (Thompson Okanagan Football Club) as coaches for the TOFC U18 Girls team participating in the BCSPL league (BC Soccer Premier League). Current coach Gary Graham stepped down to open up the door for the ladies to take over the squad. Ashlee and Carmen are currently assistant coaches with the UBCO Heat women’s soccer team under Claire Paterson. The UBCO Heat participates in the CIS league. Each of these ladies has a background playing and coaching at a high level. The new coaches mentioned they are excited to be working with the cream of the crop in regards to youth soccer in the region and look forward to helping the players transition to the next stage of their soccer career. TOFC Chair Brian Dewar said that the coaches bring an understanding of the level needed for players to meet the university standard. The addition of these coaches provides a great transition for this group.

Welcome aboard Ashlee and Carmen.
