U15 Girls take gold in Coquitlam Labour Day Tournament
TOFC take the Gold Medal in the Coquitlam Metro Ford Labour Day Weekend Tournament.
The TOFC U15 Girls squad took home the Gold Medal in the U18 Division this past weekend in Coquitlam defeating Burnaby U17’s 2-0 in the final. TOFC defeated Prince George Timberwolves 2-0, tied North Shore U17 0-0, & defeated Fraser Valley Selects 2-1 in the round robin play. They tied North Shore for top spot in the round robin and a shoot-out was needed to determine who would advance to the Gold Medal Game. TOFC advanced winning the shoot-out 3-2. The Gold Medal game was a hard fought physical match that saw TOFC win with goals from Erica Lampert & Cayleigh Graham. The team played strong defensively with only 1 goal scored against them all weekend.
