Neil McPhie Memorial Scholarship Winners Announced

Thompson Okanagan FC is extremely proud to announce the recipients of its first annual Neil McPhie Memorial Scholarship Awards.

The Neil McPhie Memorial Scholarship Awards are handed out annually to deserving graduates of Thompson Okanagan FC who are attending post secondary educational institutions. One award goes to a male graduate and one to a female graduate. Each award is in the form of a $750 scholarship. The awards were created to honour the memory of a lost friend and valued coach, and to preserve his memory and impact on the club.

The winners of the 2016 awards are Maddy Laranjo from the 1998 born Girls Team and Alex Matsubara from the 1998 Boys. Maddy and Alex were chosen from several excellent applicants, all displaying outstanding academic ability and community spirit.
