U13 Girls Win BC Soccer Provincial Premier Cup

Thompson Okanagan FC’s Under 13 Girls (2003 born) have won the highest level championship in British Columbia Youth Soccer.  Upon defeating Coastal FC U13 Girls 3-1 on Sunday June 26 at the Apple Bowl in Kelowna, the TOFC girls have become the BC Soccer Provincial Premier Cup Champions.

Having already made club history by becoming the first female team to play in a Provincial Premier Cup Final, the girls went one further by defeating a very game Coastal FC team.

Abigail Taneda scored twice for the home side and Kate Cartier added another.  Abigail Taneda was also named MVP.
