Champions League Tickets On Sale Tomorrow |

Tickets for the home leg of Toronto FC’s CONCACAF Champions League Preliminary Round tie against Motagua of Honduras will go on public sale on Tuesday, June 22.
The match will be played at BMO Field on Tuesday, July 27 at BMO Field at 8:00 p.m. with the return leg in Honduras at Estadio Nacional Tegucigalpa on Tuesday, August 3 at 8:00 p.m. Both matches will be shown live on GOL TV Canada.

What Happened To: Collin Samuel |

In our second installment of What Happened To, we locate former Toronto FC striker Collin Samuel.
Samuel struck for 3 goals in 19 appearances as a starting position for Toronto FC. He was eventually released from the club in April 2008 for personal reasons.
Today Collin Samuel can be seen playing for St. Johnstone, based in Perth, Scotland in which he signed a 2 year deal with the club on May 6, 2008.
He currently sits with 11 goals in 55 appearances for The Saints.

What Happened To: Andrea Lombardo |

In our first installment of What Happened To, we locate former Toronto FC and Canadian U20 striker Andrea Lombardo.
On April 28, 2010 Andrea Lombardo signed a 2 year contract with Portugal FC of the Canadian Soccer League.
Prior to this, he had a brief stint with the York University soccer mens team and the Whittlesea Zebras of the Victorian Premiere League in Australia.

Streaks intact as TFC, Wizards both see red |

In a game of red cards and running, Toronto FC and the Kansas City Wizards played to a 0-0 before a crowd of 25,183 on a sunny day at BMO Field.
The result extends TFC’s unbeaten streak to five games—eight in all competitions—while the Wizards have now gone eight league matches without a win.
However, the draw gives KC their first road point of the season.
Arguably, the man of the match was KC goalkeeper Jimmy Nielsen, who made three vital saves in the first half to preserve the clean sheet.

An experimental Toronto FC squad ran a soggy victory lap in honor of their Nutrilite Canadian Championship victory after fighting to a scoreless tie with short-handed Vancouver on Wednesday.
The celebration at BMO Field wasn’t a spontaneous one and was already predetermined for Toronto, who claimed their second straight title after the Whitecaps' Voyageurs Cup hopes ran aground in Montreal with a 1-1 tie last week.

DeRo: MLS Player Of The Week! |

Toronto FC attacker Dwayne De Rosario has been named MLS Player of the Week for Week 10.
TFC beat the San Jose Earthquakes, 3-1, at Buck Shaw Stadium, their first road win of the 2010 campaign.
De Rosario actually started the game on the bench, rested after the midweek trip to Argentina with Canada. TFC coach Preki inserted him at halftime, and he turned the game, scoring two goals.

Red Hot Reds Defeat San Jose |

Toronto marched into Buck Shaw stadium and collected three valuable road points against the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday night as Dwayne De Rosario grabbed a brace to earn his team a 3-1 victory to move them into second place in the Eastern Conference.
De Rosario – introduced in the second half after just returning from Canadian National Team duty – collected a long ball on a breakaway in the 66th minute and cooly slotted the game-winner past Quakes keeper Joe Cannon. He also netted Toronto’s final goal in added time to seal the win.

Toronto Wins NCC, Champions League Next |

A 1-1 draw between Montreal Impact and the Vancouver Whitecaps FC at Stade Saputo Wednesday night means that Toronto FC are the 2010 Nutrilite Canadian Championship winners with a match still left to play in the competition.
Vancouver needed a win tonight to stay alive in the NCC against a Montreal side that had already been eliminated after losing twice to Toronto. But Ansou Toure’s 50th minute go-ahead goal for the visiting Whitecaps was canceled at the 62nd minute by Montreal’s Philippe Billy. Their strikes stood as the only goals in the match despite a late flurry from both teams.

Barrett's header enough as TFC continue their good run |

Chad Barrett’s second-half goal led Toronto FC to a 1-0 win over the New England Revolution on Saturday, stretching the Canadian club’s unbeaten streak in MLS to three games and five games overall.
Barrett got his head onto a corner kick in the 53rd minute and redirected it past a helpless Preston Burpo, sending the 20,672 fans at BMO Field into delirium.

TFC, Whitecaps draw leaves CCL spot still up for grabs |

The MLS-bound Vancouver Whitecaps stayed alive in their quest to win their first Nutrilite Canadian Championship, scrapping out a 0-0 tie with Toronto FC at a wet and windy Swangard Stadium on Wednesday night.
The Whitecaps, who will become MLS’ second Canadian franchise next season, still control their own destiny in Canada’s CONCACAF Champions League qualifying tournament. With wins in their final two NCC matches, Vancouver could claim their first-ever title.
