 Thursday June 18, 2009: Toronto FC battled and struck for 6 goals against Montreal Impact's lone goal in the final match of the Nutrilite Canadian Championship. With a +5 goal differencial, Toronto FC captured the Voyageurs Cup and a ticket into the Preliminary Round of the CONCACAF Champions League.
Toronto FC came back from a 1 - 0 deficit on a successful penalty kick in the 23rd minute from Montreal Impact midfielder Tony Donatelli. Dwayne De Rosario evened it up in the 29th minute for Toronto FC with a sccissor kick past former Toronto FC goalkeeper Srdjan Djekanovic.
Toronto FC didn't look back and managed 5 more goals, 2 more from De Rosario, 2 from Amado Guavara and 1 from Chad Barett to seal the deal.
